May 31 the water is down and the fishing is great. Ahead of the thunderstorms we caugh many small in the 2.5-3.5 lb range. 1/8 oz jigs with spinners and 4" twisteer tail grubs did the trick. We even had a muskie hooked up but failed to boat the monster.
June 8, the water is still a little high and muddy after the thunderstomrs last week. In the heat of the day good size smallies were hitting tubes on the bottom. Smaller fish were hitting on spinners near the banks in hte shade.
